This November, Ards Business Hub is proud to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (17–23 November 2025), a worldwide movement that shines a light on the innovators, risk-takers, and problem-solvers driving local and global economies forward.
Here in Newtownards, entrepreneurship isn’t just about business – it’s about community, creativity, and collaboration. Every day in Ards Business Hub we see local people with big ideas taking the leap to build something new, and we’re here to support them every step of the way

Local Business Impact
We’re proud to deliver free business advice and consultancy support to entrepreneurs across Ards and North Down through the Go Succeed program, and then to support them further with our specialised business consultancy services. Many of the entrepreneurs we’ve supported continue to work with us long-term, developing their business with our advice and guidance as they scale.
The best showcase of the entrepreneurs we’ve supported is our business support case studies. From Nathan Bell of Eterna Cards, who rediscovered a childhood passion and turned it into a successful online store, to JSW Developments, who began in Killinchy and now serve clients across the UK – each story highlights real ambition and resilience.
These examples show the passion and dedication of the businesses we’ve had the pleasure of working with. They’re a great reminder of the hard work and creativity driving our local business community.
A home for business
We know that the right environment helps ideas thrive. That’s why Ards Business Hub offers modern business units and office spaces for rent in our Sketrick House and Strangford Park sites on the Jubilee Road.
Over the years we have been proud to host many start-ups finding the first home for their business, and are always excited to be able to support growing companies who are looking space to expand their footprints. Our tenants get more than just a workspace, they become part of a supportive business community with access to our advisory team, events, and networking opportunities.
Our meeting rooms are also ideal for collaboration, with rooms ranging from private interview spaces to large 40-person training facilities. Our dedicated meeting room team host a variety of teams from different sectors in Ards and North Down, including many of our tenants who avail of these convenient spaces for their team meetings.
